The catalog
All 199 cars →199 generations and halo trims across 116 nameplates and 33 brands, every figure carrying its source. Filter and sort them by brand, body style, powertrain, era and more.
Browse
Every browse axis is a view computed over tagged entries, so nothing breaks when a car is reclassified. Two of them, origin and era, are never tagged by hand at all.
- Body style14The shape of the car. A generation can span more than one: a range sold as a saloon, an estate and a coupé appears under all three.
- Powertrain10How the car is propelled and energised, from petrol to battery-electric.
- Drivetrain4Which wheels are driven.
- Origin13The manufacturer's country. Computed from the brand rather than set per car, so it can never disagree with the brand page.
- Segment13One canonical size class, shown with both its European and US labels rather than picking a side.
- Market positioning5Where a car sat in the market, independent of its size. A full-size saloon can be mainstream or ultra-luxury.
- Era13Computed from production years, never authored. A car built across a decade boundary appears in both decades.
