Founded by Soichiro Honda in October 1946 as a technical research institute repairing motorcycles, and incorporated as a car and motorcycle manufacturer in 1948.[1] Honda has been the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer since 1959, and its car business (the one this catalogue covers) grew alongside it into a major global manufacturer known for small, efficient engines.
