The current, fourth-generation A3 launched in 2020 on the MQB evo platform it shares with the Volkswagen Golf Mk8, SEAT León and Škoda Octavia, styled, the article says, with visible influence from Lamborghini.[1]
One figure here needed a judgement call rather than a lookup. The article
gives the quattro model’s output as “190 hp” using a Wikipedia conversion
template whose “hp” unit is mechanical horsepower, not the metric PS used
elsewhere in the same article for other trims. Converting on that literal
reading gives 142 kW; reading it as PS instead (the more common shorthand in
European coverage) would give 140 kW. The gap is small, but the entry records
the reading actually taken and marks the figure estimated rather than
verified, since the source itself never disambiguates which horsepower unit
its editors meant.
Boot volume also depends on drivetrain: the quattro-equipped car’s 320 L is
smaller than the 380 L quoted for front-wheel-drive A3s, because the rear
differential intrudes into the boot floor. Both are manufacturer seats-up
figures; the article separately gives a 1,200 L seats-folded figure that is
not stored here, since the schema’s bootVolume field is a single seats-up
value.
