Lamborghini’s first SUV since the military LM002, and the model that turned the company from a niche exotic maker into a volume brand: the Urus regularly outsells every other Lamborghini combined.[1] Launched in 2017 on Volkswagen Group’s MLB Evo platform (shared with the Audi Q7/Q8, Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne), it remains in production, updated in 2024 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain as the Urus SE.

See the 2017 entry for the launch V8 and the current SE.
