Audi’s first SUV, launched in 2005 on a platform shared with the Volkswagen Touareg and Porsche Cayenne, and the car that introduced the world’s only series-production V12 diesel passenger car.[1] It has run through two full generations plus a third announced for 2026, growing a plug-in hybrid line in its second generation.
