Launched for February 2020, and sold as a hybrid-only model in Europe: this generation replaced the previous single-motor i-DCD hybrid with a new dual-motor e:HEV system, and Honda targeted a 65% hybrid take rate in Japan against 40% for the outgoing car. That was a target the e:HEV beat within its first month on sale.[1] It was never sold in North America, which the third generation was the last Fit to reach.
As with other Honda hybrids in this catalogue, no combined system output is recorded for the e:HEV powertrain. The source publishes the 1.5-litre engine’s own output (97-106 hp, depending on tune) and the electric motor’s output (107-123 hp) separately, never a single combined figure, and this site does not add the two together to manufacture one.
