Peugeot’s C-segment family hatchback, on sale since 2007 as the successor to the 307 and, across three generations, sold as a hatchback, an estate, a coupé cabriolet and, in China, a saloon.[1] A 308 HDi once held the Guinness World Record for the most fuel-efficient mainstream car after averaging 3.13 L/100 km over a 14,580 km run, though Peugeot was later rapped by UK advertising regulators for quoting that figure in ordinary advertising.

This entry covers the first two generations: the T7 of 2007, whose GTi/GT revived the performance-hatch name after a hiatus, and the T9 of 2013, whose GTi by Peugeot Sport was sold in two distinct power outputs. The current third generation (P5, 2021-present), sold alongside plug-in hybrid and full-electric versions, is a gap in this catalogue.
