The third and, as it turned out, final TT (Typ FV/8S) moved onto the Volkswagen Group MQB platform it shares with the Golf Mk7 and third-generation A3, and in 2019 Audi confirmed there would be no fourth generation.[1]

As with the first generation, only one weight range is published for the whole engine line-up here (1,230-1,425 kg) rather than a figure per trim. The lightest mainstream 2.0 TFSI and the heaviest, most powerful TT RS take the two ends of that range on the same basis used elsewhere on this site: a plausible mapping, not a manufacturer-confirmed figure for those two trims specifically, which the note on each says.
