The last Fiesta, built at Cologne from 2017 until Ford ended production of the entire nameplate in July 2023 to concentrate on SUVs and electric models.[1] Wikipedia’s own count calls this the “seventh generation”; most enthusiast and trade usage in the UK calls it the Mk8, because Ford treats the 2008 and 2013 cars as one generation with a facelift where Wikipedia counts them as two; this entry follows Wikipedia’s numbering and notes the discrepancy rather than picking a side.

The ST hot-hatch trim recorded here carries the pre-facelift figures (2018-2022); Ford revised the engine’s torque and CO2 figures at the 2022 facelift, and the two are kept as distinct concerns rather than blended into one figure.

Wikipedia labels this the seventh generation by its own counting; commonly known in the UK market as Mk8 (or Mk7 for the facelift), because Ford numbers the 2008 and 2013 cars as one generation with a facelift where Wikipedia counts them separately.
