The second Cayenne, unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, kept the first generation’s off-road ability while dropping its low-range transfer case and shedding around 250 kg through greater use of aluminium and magnesium.[1] Model-year 2013-2016 diesel Cayennes built on this platform were among the cars implicated in the Volkswagen Group diesel emissions scandal.

Three trims are recorded here: the entry VR6 petrol, the V6 turbodiesel, and the twin-turbocharged V8 Cayenne Turbo. The S E-Hybrid plug-in variant introduced at the 2014 facelift is pictured but not recorded as a separate trim, since the source does not give it a full power/torque/CO2 figure set comparable to the other three. Kerb weight is recorded only at generation level: the article publishes a 2,085-2,215 kg range across the whole line rather than a figure for any one trim.

Lowest of a published 2,085-2,215 kg range across the whole range; not attributed to one specific trim, so recorded at generation level only. The article states the 92A is about 250 kg lighter than the 9PA it replaced, largely from dropping the low-range transfer case.
