The 208 has been Peugeot’s supermini since 2012, succeeding the 207 and, in its current second generation, offering petrol, diesel and battery-electric versions of the same body and platform.[1] The first generation carried a GTi hot-hatch flagship, badge-engineered from a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine; Peugeot deliberately let the GTi lapse for the second generation because the old engine could not meet CO2 targets, and has since revealed an e-208 GTi built around the electric drivetrain instead. This catalogue covers both generations.
