Kia’s European compact hatchback since 2006, the first Kia designed and built entirely in Europe (styled at Kia’s Frankfurt studio and assembled in Slovakia) and named for the continent it was built for, a lower-case “cee’d” spelling that Kia itself dropped for the current generation.[1] It has always shared its platform with the Hyundai i30, sold two generations in parallel under the “Cee’d”/“Ceed” name across hatchback, estate and shooting-brake body styles. This catalogue covers the original ED and the current third-generation CD, on sale since 2018.
