The third and, so far, most recent Ceed, revealed ahead of the 2018 Geneva Motor Show and the first generation to drop the apostrophe from the “Cee’d” spelling.[1] It spawned two related but distinct cars on the same platform: the Proceed, a shooting-brake body style built until the end of 2024, and the XCeed, a crossover that remains in production after the hatchback and estate ended in January 2026.
Four engines are recorded here, from a 1.0-litre three-cylinder up to a 1.6-litre diesel, all with figures taken from Kia’s own published UK specification pages rather than a prose estimate. Kerb weight is left as an explicit placeholder: unlike the first and second generations, whose infoboxes both give a weight range, this generation’s does not state one at all.
