Ford’s European supermini, in production from 1976 to 2023, and for much of that time Ford’s or one of Europe’s best-selling small cars.[1] It was Ford’s first small front-wheel-drive car, developed as its answer to a supermini class the Fiat 127 and Renault 5 had opened up, and it closes the B-segment gap in this catalogue.
