A single-generation nameplate: the Xsara ran from 1997 to 2006, replacing the ZX and sharing its platform with the Peugeot 306, before being succeeded in Europe by the C4.[1] The hatchback ended production in Europe in 2004, but a Chinese joint-venture plant kept building it for another year, and the estate outlasted the hatchback everywhere, running to 2006 without ever getting a direct replacement. This catalogue treats the whole run as one entry, with the substantial 2000 facelift and its many engine changes recorded as trims.
