The third-generation C3 for Europe, revealed in June 2016 with styling cues borrowed from the facelifted C4 Picasso and optional “Airbump” side mouldings shared with the C4 Cactus.[1] It ran for eight years, longer than either generation before it, before Citroën replaced it in Europe with a reskinned version of the unrelated Indian-market car rather than a clean-sheet design.

Three trims are recorded here, spanning the two petrol PureTech states of tune and the diesel that eventually replaced an earlier, larger-displacement unit. All are drawn from the manufacturer’s own published specification table rather than a prose estimate.
