Citroën’s own account of this car is unusually candid: the “fourth generation” European C3, revealed in October 2023, is described in the source itself as “a heavily reskinned version of the Indian third-generation C3,” built on the same Smart Car Platform rather than a new design.[1] It is also the first Citroën to carry the brand’s new logo and “C-Zen Lounge” interior language, previewed the year before by the Oli concept.

Both a turbocharged petrol and a battery-electric e-C3 are recorded here. The electric motor’s 0-100 km/h figure is stated in the source only as “around 11 seconds,” not as an exact number, so it is recorded as an estimate rather than a precise verified figure. Kerb weight is published as a range spanning the petrol and electric versions together, so the lowest figure is recorded at generation level rather than assigned to a specific trim.
