Detail

Cesare Lercker was an Italian gunsmith who worked at Beretta while also running his own small workshop, where he and Carlo Cuppini designed the selective-fire Lercker pistol around 1950. No free source names a separate manufacturing company behind the pistol, nor a founding date for Lercker’s own workshop; production is instead described directly in terms of the two designers and the roughly 150 pistols built before Italian police seized the type.
