A Warren, Michigan armoured-vehicle and weapons contractor best known for the V-100 Commando armoured car, Cadillac Gage also built the Stoner 63 modular weapon system that Eugene Stoner designed after leaving ArmaLite. The company merged with Textron Marine in 1994 to form Textron Marine & Land Systems, the successor firm that continues Cadillac Gage’s defence-vehicle business today.
