Red wine glass
A large stemmed bowl, filled nowhere near the top. Modern spritzes are built in it because the bowl holds ice, wine and a garnish at once and still leaves headroom for the aroma to collect.
Capacity
Solid ice only, and stated for the pour rather than the vessel: a spritz takes a handful of cubes in the bottom of the bowl, not a filled glass, so the displacement is quoted against the roughly 300 ml the glass is actually filled to rather than against its 600 ml capacity. Crushed is taken as 7% above cubed: loose crushed ice weighs about 593 to 640 kg per cubic metre against 917 for solid ice, roughly 65% solid, where loose cubes run about 61%.
Every drink below was checked against this figure at build time. A recipe that does not fit its stated vessel fails the build rather than shipping.
