Body style

Powertrain

The original Polo, styled by Marcello Gandini at Bertone and effectively a cheaper-trimmed Audi 50 in a Volkswagen dealership.[1] A four-door saloon variant was sold separately as the Volkswagen Derby.

This is one of the thinner entries in the catalogue on figures: Wikipedia’s own article gives no kerb weight, no torque and no body dimensions beyond the wheelbase for this generation at all, so those fields are left empty rather than filled with a plausible-looking guess.
