Drivetrain

Tesla’s first SUV, built on a stretched and raised version of the Model S platform and known chiefly for its rear falcon-wing doors.[1] It ran for over a decade on one generation, revised in 2021 with a new interior, powertrain and the tri-motor “Plaid” performance flagship, before Tesla discontinued it alongside the Model S in early 2026.

A single generation, recorded here as the current dual-motor Long Range and tri-motor Plaid; the discontinued 60D/75D/90D/100D/P90D/P100D line that preceded the 2021 refresh is not broken out as separate trims.

Generations

Each generation is its own entry, with its own specifications and sources.
