The Impreza has been Subaru’s compact car since 1992, built continuously through six generations and carrying the WRX and WRX STI performance sub-brands for most of that run before they split off as the standalone Subaru WRX in 2014.[1] Every Impreza has offered Subaru’s flat-four “boxer” engine, and all-wheel drive has been standard in every market except Japan, where it was long optional. This catalogue covers the original generation (home of the rally-bred WRX STI) and the current sixth generation, sold only as a hatchback.
