The Murciélago was Lamborghini’s flagship V12 for a single, unbroken run from 2001 to 2010: one generation, evolved twice, rather than a series of redesigns.[1] It replaced the Diablo, carried Lamborghini through its first years under Audi ownership, and was succeeded by the Aventador in 2011.
See the 2001 entry for the coupé, roadster, LP 640 and LP 670-4 SuperVeloce variants that make up the whole run.
