The fourth-generation Tucson, revealed in September 2020 with sharply faceted bodywork and a “parametric jewel” grille that hides its daytime running lights inside a geometric pattern of chrome facets.[1] It is built on a shortened version of the Santa Fe’s platform and, unusually, sold in two different lengths at once: a short wheelbase for Europe and the Middle East, and a long wheelbase for most other markets including North America, China and Korea.

Only the two straightforward petrol engines are recorded here; Hyundai also sells hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of this generation, whose system outputs are published figures rather than sums of engine and motor, and are left for a future pass rather than approximated. Dimensions and weight are each published as ranges spanning wheelbase and trim, so the lowest figure in each range is recorded at generation level, not assigned to a specific trim.
