The original C4, unveiled at the 2004 Paris Motor Show as a five-door hatchback and a distinct three-door coupe with its own rear-end design.[1] A saloon version, built in Argentina and exported as the C4 Pallas or C4 Sedan, and a longer four-door export to China badged the C-Triomphe, extended the same platform much further than the European car alone suggests.
Four trims are recorded here, each with kerb weight, performance and economy figures pulled directly from the manufacturer’s own specification table rather than a single generation-wide estimate: the table gives a different weight for nearly every engine and body combination, so no single figure would have described the range. The saloon’s separately quoted drag coefficient of 0.28 is recorded on the diesel trim as an estimate, since it describes the saloon body specifically and not the hatchback/coupe shape those figures are otherwise drawn from.
