Not a new car underneath: the C4 is a 1994 facelift of the third-generation Audi 100, renamed to fit Audi’s new alphanumeric scheme once the flagship A8 had launched.[1] The changes were modest (new lights, a new grille), while the chassis, engines and transmissions carried over largely unchanged from the 100. The United Kingdom got the car first, simply because its stock of right-hand-drive Audi 100s ran out before the rest of Europe’s did.

The trim recorded here, the 2.8 30v V6, is one of the few C4 engines the article gives a torque-free power figure for; no torque value is published in the same table, so the field is left empty rather than filled in from a different source that might describe a different state of tune.
