USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy) · 174817. FoodData Central carries no rhum agricole record. Rhum agricole blanc is typically bottled between 50% and 55% ABV under Martinique's AOC rules; 50% is taken as the representative bottling. Energy is scaled from Alcoholic beverage, distilled, rum, 80 proof (public domain, 231 kcal/100 g at 40% ABV) in proportion to alcohol content, since an unsweetened spirit's energy is a function of its ethanol alone. Density is density-classes.json's spirit-high class (0.93 g/ml), the one for overproof spirits at 50% and above, rather than the 40%-ABV rum record's own.

Substitutes

White rum: Molasses-based and usually lower-proof, so the drink loses the grassy, vegetal note agricole is chosen for and comes in noticeably weaker.

A general substitute is a browsing aid rather than a drink-specific claim. Where a particular drink has a substitution worth making, it says so on its own page and recomputes the spec for it.
