The current generation, launched in 2018 on Toyota’s TNGA-C platform and sold under a genuinely confusing spread of names and specifications: Corolla, Corolla Altis, Allion, Levin, and a Suzuki-badged Swace among them.[1] This entry records the US-market saloon specifically: a 2.0-litre SE/XSE petrol trim and a 1.8-litre full hybrid, because dimensions, weight and output figures for this generation are published separately by market and body style, and averaging or mixing them across markets would misstate all of them.

The two trims are not comparable on power alone. The 2.0-litre’s 169 hp is an engine figure; the hybrid’s 121 hp is a combined system figure with the petrol engine and electric motor’s individual outputs never stated separately, so no engine-only torque figure exists for it either.
