The last Audi A4: on sale from 2015 to 2025, when the saloon was renamed A5 for its successor as Audi consolidated its odd- and even-numbered model lines.[1] It arrived roughly 120 kg lighter than the B8 it replaced thanks to an aluminium-hybrid structure, and it was the first A4 with a fully digital “virtual cockpit” instrument display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The trim recorded here is the 40 TFSI quattro (badged 2.0 TFSI ultra at launch), a mainstream all-wheel-drive four-cylinder rather than the base front-drive engine or the S4/RS4 performance flagships also sold on this platform. Its spec table in the article also gives combined fuel economy and CO₂ figures, but without naming the test cycle they were measured on; since a 2015-launch European car could plausibly be either the outgoing NEDC cycle or an early WLTP figure, and the two are not comparable, both fields are left out rather than guessed at.

The generation's spec table names this engine only as '2.0 TFSI ultra (40 TFSI / 40 TFSI quattro)' without stating an exact displacement figure; 1984 cc is the well-documented capacity of the EA888 2.0 TFSI family used across this generation, but is not itself stated in the cited article section.
