REFINEMENT INTAKE
The work is mysterious and important.

// ABOUT THIS PROJECT //
Pseudoku is an affectionate tribute to the world of Lumon Industries, a severed-floor terminal that doubles as a real tool. Behind the cold cyan glass it is two things at once: a faithful recreation of the Macrodata Refinement ritual, and a fully working Sudoku engine that can generate, import, and solve puzzles at four tempers.
// WHY THIS EXISTS //
Severance is one of those rare shows that stays with you long after the credits roll. The sterile offices, the strange rituals, the retro technology, and the unsettling mystery of Lumon all felt completely unique. What struck me most, though, was Macrodata Refinement itself.
The connection between Severance and Sudoku felt surprisingly natural. In one, employees spend their days staring at endless grids of numbers, searching for patterns and sorting them into the correct boxes. In the other, players study a grid of numbers, searching for patterns and placing them into the correct squares. Different procedures. Similar responsibilities.
